This collection of original gouaches by Owen Jones for Drawings of Chinese Ornament, 1867 comprises 47 designs that went on to be published; one working design on tissue, and three unpublished designs. The group was identified in 2017 by Olivia Horsfall Turner, supported by Carol Flores.

The drawings are on watermarked Whatman paper, some of which have the date 1865.
