The Winter Antiques Show: ready to go
On Tuesday morning, so far spared the traditional Winter Antiques Show snow, we arrived at the nonetheless frigid Armory. Our shippers battled the mêlée of ‘troublesome trucks’ jockeying for position on a gridlocked Lexington Avenue.
But, without the slightest hint of distress, K-Pak unloaded, unpacked and helped us set up the stand, while Nicky Aubury’s team tweaked the display and positioned our lighting. The result can be seen below, and we look forward to welcoming you.
Our display, as many will know by now, is based around a group of furniture designed by Bruce Talbert: cabinets, chairs and tables.
But we also have a selection of pieces from the English Arts & Crafts Movement, by designers including Voysey, Gimson and Benson.
The fair is open to the public 20-29 January, with a preview on 19 January. We are, as ever, on stand B.13, at the back right hand side of the hall.
